All New Xbox Game Reveals After Nintendo Direct – September 2025

Including a Final Fantasy VII Release Date!

Yesterday's 60-minute Nintendo Direct was packed with a ton of third-party reveals for both the Switch and the upcoming Switch 2. While much of the spotlight was on Nintendo’s platforms, a handful of the showcased games are also making their way to Xbox consoles in the months ahead.
The biggest highlight? Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade finally has an Xbox release date: January 22, 2026. But that wasn’t all — several other fan-favorite franchises are headed to Xbox as well.

What This Means for Xbox Players
While today’s Nintendo Direct was naturally geared toward Switch owners, Xbox players have plenty to look forward to from the showcase. From the long-awaited arrival of Final Fantasy 7 Remake to remakes of beloved RPGs and horror classics, 2026 is already shaping up to be a stacked year for Japanese games on Xbox.
