Backwards Compatibility.
One of the standout features of the Xbox ecosystem, backwards compatibility is game preservation in action. Though it's a pity that Microsoft has halted the back-compat program, and also unfortunate that many back-compat titles don't go on sale, (such as Gyromancer, the Otogi games, Sacred Citadel, Torchlight, etc.. to name a few). Even worse, some of the back-compat titles are no longer available for purchase, (such as the original Defense Grid)
Nonetheless, one of the finest experiences one can have is playing the old classics on newer hardware, especially if they've been enhanced to take advantage of it.
